This position is responsible for all engineering, planning and deployment aspects of the mobile and fixed networks. Ultimate goal is maximizing its contribution to the overall business objectives. The Director Network Infrastructure also collaborates with the Corporate HQ and all affiliates to optimize alliances. This position reports directly to the CTO, the role is primarily based in Netherlands HQ in The Hague. This position will be responsible for the following sub-departments architecture, solutions & design, deployment, optimization and tooling.  The strategy and goals of the Network Infrastructure department is to:

  • - Define the architecture of, design, plan, build and optimize the mobile
       and fixed network infrastructure and required related tools.
  • - Manage Dimension Network, mobile and fixed, efficiently by meeting
      network deployment targets, improving network quality, and
  •    decreasing network costs.
  • - Allocate resources to meet company business objectives and
       achieve budget targets.
  • - Increase employee satisfaction and develop processes and
       procedures in coordination with global HQ.
  • - The elements of the network infrastructure are the Access layer
       (2G<3G, xDSL), Transport layer (SDH, ATM, MSPTP, and IP),
       Aggregation layer (BSC, RNC, DSLAM, …) and Control layer (MSS,
       MGW, SGSN, STP, HLR, …).
